Prize Giving Ceremony: Capture the Flag Competition

The Capture the Flag (CTF) Cybersecurity Competition 2025, organized in strategic partnership with the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA), MCMC, and the Ministry of Communications has concluded with exceptional success, delivering outstanding results and comprehensive value across government, education, and private sector objectives.

On October 2nd, 2025, a special event was held where YB Datuk Fahmi Fadzil was in attendance to congratulate and give out the prizes to the winners.

Capture the Flag Cybersecurity Competition

The Capture the Flag Cybersecurity Competition in conjunction with Malaysia Day 2025 is a transformative initiative aimed at accelerating Malaysia’s cybersecurity workforce development while positioning the nation as a regional leader in competitive cybersecurity education. This strategic programme directly addresses Malaysia’s urgent requirement for 25,000 cybersecurity professionals by 2025. Through a multi-phase, technically rigorous framework, the Challenge seeks to identify, develop, and empower the nation’s most promising cybersecurity talents.

Leveraging the proven First Experts game platform, this programme engages participants aged 18–25 from across Malaysia, bridging the gap between academic study and industry demands. The Challenge integrates gamified learning, real-world scenarios, and competitive challenges, equipping participants with both technical skills and strategic problem-solving capabilities essential for national cybersecurity leadership. With ministerial endorsement, technical expertise, and industry-standard practices, the championship represents Malaysia’s most ambitious cybersecurity talent development initiative to date.

Cempaka International Schools Cyber Awareness Program

Empower your kids to be safe in the Digital World

First Experts Sdn Bhd, in partnership with Cempaka International Schools, proudly introduces our ongoing “Empower Your Kids to Be Safe in the Digital World” program—an initiative committed to equipping parents and youth with essential cybersecurity awareness and digital wellness skills. Building on the momentum of our successful pilot session, made possible with the steadfast support of Dato’ Freida Pilus, Dr. Rizal Hamzah, and En. Hisham Hamzah, we are pleased to announce that these engaging sessions will now be held every month on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

About the Program

Our monthly sessions are designed to help families navigate the complexities of the digital age by fostering a culture of cyber-wellness and safety at home. The program features award-winning educators and distinguished cybersecurity leaders who provide parents with actionable insights, including:

Understanding cyber-wellness and digital resilience
What every parent should know and look out for online
The educational tools, games, and bootcamps we offer for children
How parents and educators can collaborate to better safeguard our children in the online world
